Fuel purchased by a Shell GO+ Rewards member opted into the CO₂ offset programme at a UK Shell station will automatically offset their CO₂ emissions. Shell will calculate the amount of CO₂ emissions generated by the fuel purchased and will purchase carbon credits to compensate for these emissions.
