How can I start a charging session with the app?

To get started check that you have the following:
  • You have a registered and active Shell Recharge account.
  • You have a Shell Recharge charge card. This charge card needs to be activated and configured for public charging through the Shell recharge app.
  • Your car is connected to a charge point via a charging cable.
Next, go to the app and log in using your username and password, if you are not already. Apply the 'app-enabled chargers' filter in the top right corner of the screen. All public charging points where you can start a charging session just using the app will now appear on your screen.

Find a suitable location to start a charging session and press "Charge". Confirm the start of the charging session and charging will begin.
