Who can benefit from the promotion?
BYD car owners with a Shell Recharge charge card can benefit from the promotion.
How can I claim the promotion?
From the 1st of June, every Shell Recharge x BYD card owner will automatically be given the discounted Shell Recharge rate. Even if you activated your charge card before the 1st of June.
How do I start a charging session?
Some charge points will have different ways of starting a charging session, please revert to reading the instructions on the charge point. A description will be available on the charge point on how to use the charge cards and start a charging session.
The charge point is not working. What should I do?
Please call the phone number on the charge point, this should get you in contact with the charge point operator.
I lost my charge card. What should I do?
Please go to the app to deactivate the card immediately. Please order a new card via your dealer to keep using your discounted rate on the Shell Recharge DC network. The activation process of your new card will be the same as before.
Is the discount applicable on all charge points?
No, the discount only applies to the rapid and ultra rapid charging stations >50 kW at Shell Recharge locations. You can find these by using the filter in the app.
I have issues with my charge card. What should I do?
Please call the number on the back of the card and our Shell Recharge customer care team will be able to support you.
The charge point doesn’t work and there is no one to help. What should I do?
Please use the Shell Recharge app to find another charge point or call our customer care. We are 24/7 available for technical issues.
