You do not need a charge card to charge your EV. You can pay-as-you-go with a contactless card at selected charge points. We strongly recommend using the Shell Recharge card and app, not only does it give access to every charge point in the network but it also provides many other benefits. You can see prices upfront and take advantage of discounted pricing available exclusively to customers that charge using the app. You can also keep track of your charging history. And don’t forget that with contactless payments, you won’t be able to see live updates on your charging status or receive a payment receipt.
