Guest use is an option available only if your charge point is equipped with an RFID card reader and if you have a Plus subscription. This feature allows you to manage who can use your charge point through guest use.
You can either set up public access (open to all), or selectively grant access to certain charging passes. By adding specific pass numbers to your account, you can grant the owners of these passes permission to charge at your charge point. The RFID reader's verification technology ensures that only a registered pass can be used to charge.
If you choose to make your charge point publicly accessible, it is mandatory to publish your charge point. This makes your charge point visible in our app and on the map and makes your charge point part of the public Shell Recharge charging network.
