How should I dispose of used oil?

It’s never a good idea to pour oil down the drain, so instead:

  • You can also take your used oil to an official oil-disposal or recycling bank
  • Some places that may provide this service include the store where the fresh oil was purchased, a car repair shop or a municipal recycling centre.
