When charging your car with ultra rapid charger it is possible to charge 80% capacity in 30 minutes*. The charger needs to slow the charging session down towards the end of the session to avoid any damage to the battery. Therefore, when the battery has reached 80% the charger slowly stops the charge session. 150kW+ chargers will charge most vehicles from 20% to 80% within 30 minutes in ideal conditions. Charging speeds may vary depending on: battery state, ambient temperature, other load use (e.g. AC) & energy losses. Not all vehicles are capable of reaching 150kW.
