The time required to fully charge an electric car's battery will vary depending on the car, the charge point, and the power source. Some EVs can be charged in just a couple of hours, while others may take up to 8 hours. The type of charging infrastructure available can also influence the charging time. For example if you charge at home this won't be as fast as using an Ultra-rapid 175 kW charge point at a Shell forecourt . These are one of the fastest charging options available.
